Bay Street Boot Camp - Junior Economic Club of Canada

Bay Street Boot Camp is a financial literacy course and entrepreneurial challenge that brings 50 high school students to the heart of the financial district in downtown Toronto each summer. This five-day program exposes students to a variety subjects including basic finance and personal money management, bullying, stress management, and developing a professional personal brand. Throughout the week, students work on their business plans, culminating on "Pitch Day", the last day of Camp.

The final day of Bay Street Boot Camp begins with a trade show where the student groups pitch their ideas to business executives serving as judges or “Mega Minds”. The Mega Minds selected the businesses they would invest in, determining who would advance to the final round. The top groups then pitch their business ideas to a panel of experts and the audience made up of their peers, parents and guests.

Through our WORKshop community giveback initiative, Boyden is proud to participate as an Instructor to the Getting the Job session and Pitch Day Judge.

Bay Street Boot Camp is presented by Jr. Economic Club of Canada.
