Boyden is proud to share the appointment news of Linda Revell

Edmonton, CANADA  July 30, 2019  The Board of Directors of Points West Living (“PWL”) and Connecting Care (“CC”) is pleased to announce today that Linda Revell has been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer of PWL and CC. Linda has more than 30 years of progressive experience in a wide variety of regional and provincial health care organizations and will assume her new role on September 3, 2019.

Linda will succeed Doug Mills, who stepped down as CEO for health reasons on April 12, 2019. Doug will continue to be an active member of the PWL Board of Directors and has been awarded a contract to act as a consultant for Connecting Care where he will work with the development team on numerous existing and upcoming development management mandates.

Steve Suske, Chair of the PWL Board of Directors and Acting CEO, said, “Linda brings a wealth of experience managing seniors housing portfolios throughout Western Canada. I am confident in her ability to guide PWL and CC to the next level, delivering exceptional care to people’s moms and dads. I also believe that Linda will be a changemaker who will create value for all of our stakeholders.”

Linda’s appointment was unanimously recommended by the Selection Committee who came to this decision enthusiastically. Her appointment was approved by the PWL Board of Directors on July 10, 2019.

Linda’s previous experience includes VP, Clinical Integration, Fraser Health Authority; Senior Strategist at Alberta Health Services; VP and COO for Covenant Health, a provincially based health organization in Alberta; VP, Clinical Programs, Providence Health Care, Vancouver, BC; and Interim COO of First Nations Health Authority, Vancouver, BC.

Most recently, Linda was Chief Administrative Officer for the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) with accountability for Finance, Capital Planning, Human Resources, Labour Relations, Enterprise Risk Management, Informatics, Supply Chain and Strategy and Performance.

Linda has an Executive Certificate in Change Leadership from the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto; a Masters of Science in Health Administration, University of Toronto; and is currently an adjunct professor at the School of Public Health, University of Alberta with a focus on complex systems change and organizational performance.
