With Boyden for 20 years, Bill leads Boyden’s Greater China Practice. He has a successful track record in a variety of industries including manufacturing, chemicals and specialty minerals goods, and logistics. His work in the financial services sector has also been extensive.
Bill focuses his practice on leadership positions including regional and country level CEO and business development roles. Bill also has been successful in managing many Human Resources management roles and CFO roles.
Bill spends a good deal of his time on cross-border searches working closely with the on-the-ground research teams in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Bill is currently serving his third term on Boyden World Corporation’s Board of Directors. He has also held several leadership positions in the American Chamber of Commerce in Taipei, including Chairman of the Nominations Committee and Chairman of the Human Resources Committee. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors and Supervisors.
He holds a BA in History from the University of Minnesota. He completed the Boyden-Kellogg Advanced Consulting Program held at the JJ Kellogg Graduate School of Management. In 1997 Bill was the recipient of the Asia-Pacific Sidney Boyden award. In 2006 he received the Boyden Spirit award for contributions to the firm and in 2009 the Board of Directors Award for distinguished service to the Board and the firm.
Bill is a US citizen and a fluent Mandarin speaker.
