CFA Society Philadelphia (CFAP) was founded in 1943 to further the interchange of information and opinions among people in the investment community, foster a high standard of ethics and promote a clear public understanding of the functions of security analysis. CFAP is a Charter Society of the CFA Institute and is the seventh largest Society in the U.S. with over 2,200 members.

CFA Society Philadelphia and its Women’s Advisory Committee are pleased to host their first
day-long event focused on diversity and inclusion within the financial services industry. This
conference will feature panel discussions and expert speakers from leading organizations both in
the region and nationally. The conference will address many of the pressing issues facing women
and diverse groups in financial services with a discussions of solutions on improving diversity.
Topics will include diversity within the industry, at the organizational level, and specific to an
individual’s career. 

Part of the Getting to the C-Suite panel discussion, Boyden's Karen Edwards, CFA, Partner is joined by Ellen Cooper, CFA, Lincoln Financial; Amira Strasser, Applied Research Investments; Jen Gambol, American Water.  The panel will be moderated by Peggy Flynn, CFA, American Water.
