SFU has recently created a new executive-level portfolio that oversees Faculty Relations, People Planning (including Human Resources/Labour Relations and Organization Development) and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Reporting to the VPPEI is a newly created Executive Director, People and Organization Development (POD) role. 

The Executive Director, People and Organization Development, provides executive leadership and vision to the development and execution of initiatives, strategies, programs, policies and services that support University-wide goals and objectives.

The Search Committee recognizes that no candidate for the Executive Director, People and Organization Development is likely to meet all the following criteria in equal measure. Nevertheless, the following qualifications, characteristics, experience, approach and personal qualities are seen to be highly desirable.
