Tim has over 24 years of senior level international search experience and is a senior member of the Global Industrial Practice, focusing in the Aerospace, Defense & Intelligence sector, transportation sector, and the Infrastructure Privatization sector. He is a founding member of Boyden’s Board Practice and an Equity Partner of the firm. He was the co-founder of the Risk Management & Security Practice.
His management consulting and search career began with Booz Allen Hamilton’s Applied Science Center in Washington, DC, where he was a senior professional consulting to U.S. and foreign governments and multi-national organizations. Tim was selected by Booz Allen to lead their international search practice in addressing senior human capital and organization development issues of large, global public and private sector organizations. Prior to search, Tim represented various American, Danish, French and German companies engaged in global engineered logistics services serving both industry and government.
He has been named by Business Week as One of the World’s Most Influential Headhunters.
In 1989, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark knighted Tim in recognition of his outstanding service to Denmark. He was appointed as special advisor to the U.S. Department of Commerce in the last 1980s and is a former member of the National Defense Executive Reserve.
He is a member and active participate of numerous professional organizations including the Airports Council International, American Association of Port Authorities, ASIS International, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, Association of Unmanned Vehicles Systems International, International Association of Ports & Harbours, the Institute of Management Consultants, Military Order of the Carabao, and the Turnaround Management Association. He is a life time member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland and has completed graduate work in International Commerce at George Washington University.
