Ami Bhatt Hardy

Managing Partner, Greater China

Ami Bhatt Hardy is a Managing Director with Boyden Global Executive Search in Hong Kong and Mainland China.  She is a lead consultant for Boyden China’s consumer goods, retail and media/entertainment practices but is also actively involved in searches in the industrial and healthcare practice areas.

Prior to joining Boyden, Ami was a Managing Director with a global boutique executive search firm for 2 years, and before that spent 16 years with one of the top international global search firms where she was a Senior Client Partner, all based in Hong Kong. Her solid foundation in research gained during the early part of her career gives her the knowledge and capability to manage local, regional and global search efforts, depending on clients’ needs.

With a search career spanning over 18 years, clients are drawn to Ami’s ability to understand client needs, as well as her reputation for successfully completing searches in all functional areas including general management, marketing, sales, human resources, finance, communications, IT, merchandising, and supply chain.  Her breadth of experience ranges from regional positions to single market roles, with multinational and emerging companies alike, for positions based in Asia, especially Greater China.

In her spare time, Ami enjoys travelling, keeping fit and spending time with her family She also occasionally teaches human resources courses on a part-time basis enabling her to keep her HR knowledge current.

Ami was born and grew up in Hong Kong. Upon completing her secondary education in Hong Kong, she went to the University of East Anglia in the UK, where she earned her Bachelor degree in Economics. She obtained her MSc in Human Resources Management from the University of London (external program) in 2005.
