Boyden is pleased to share the appointment news of Herb Eibensteiner, a recruitment co-led by Kathryn Young and Khaleeda Jamal

Vancouver, BC - June 16, 2022

The Board of Directors of Covenant House Vancouver is pleased to announce, after a full internal and external search, the appointment of Herb Eibensteiner as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Effective July 1, 2022, Herb will step into his new role as CEO bringing with him over eight years of experience as a leader and Chief Operating Officer with CHV. He also brings many years of progressive experience in finance, operations, strategic planning, and transformative change.  Herb has developed deep and trusting relationships within Covenant House and with government, sector partners, and donors.

As CEO, Herb will be responsible for the overall operations of the agency, including managing company organizational structures, vision/strategy, and working with the Board.

Herb cares deeply about the young people we serve, and has the heart and leadership that Covenant House Vancouver needs for this next important stage of our growth.

Please join me and the Board of Directors in congratulating our colleague Herb on his new role.

The Board would like to thank Krista Thompson for her sixteen years of incredible leadership. She has been a champion for the young people, staff, and our volunteers, and now it is time for a much-deserved break. Thank you, Krista!
