Meet the Board:
Kathleen Dunton has over 20 years’ experience in executive search, and primarily serves clients in the professional services, industrial and chemical sectors. She has lived and worked in the US, UK and Germany. This gives her a broad perspective, which has proven valuable to international firms, both European and American, seeking to recruit highly qualified executives across borders.
William Farrell has been with Boyden for over 30 years. As the former lead in Greater China, he has extensive experience working across the Asia Pacific region. He also has comprehensive knowledge of the Southeast Asia market. His search experience includes working in industrial manufacturing, shipping and logistics, and financial services. In addition, Bill has served as a Board Director for NGOs and private companies for 20-plus years. He is currently leading Boyden’s Taiwan and South Korea offices, and focuses on recruiting for Board, CEO and other leadership roles across functional lines.
Trina Gordon is a recognized leader in talent advisory and leadership solutions. During her tenure of more than 30 years with Boyden, she has worked closely with our board, practices and partners to support the firm’s strategy, growth and client performance standards. As President & CEO for more than 10 years, she presided over global growth and built a legacy of forward-thinking policies.
Prior to launching his career in executive search, Henrik Harbo developed substantial expertise in senior investment banking and financial roles in top-tier global organisations, becoming a highly regarded business leader throughout the Nordic region and abroad. He is a trusted advisor, sought-after for his guidance on strategy, leadership and ability to build teams that are geared for growth.
Leader of Boyden’s Ontario offices, Jim Harmon is one of Canada’s most experienced search professionals. Over more than two decades, he has completed hundreds of searches for clients ranging from early-stage start-ups, to global public companies. His work has focused on board, C-suite, and VP recruitment, including dozens of CEOs. Jim also specializes in recruiting transformative IT, data and digital leadership talent.
Chad Hesters is an experienced global leader with a comprehensive background in executive search, business advisory and consulting. As CEO, he focuses on maintaining Boyden’s high standard of client service and its industry leadership, while developing and implementing strategies to further expand the firm’s global presence and enhance its capabilities across all lines of business.
With over 20 years’ experience in executive search, Carita Lahti leads board and C-level searches, and conducts board and leadership review and development. She brings a flexible, creative mind-set to clients seeking transformational leaders who can motivate diverse teams to enhance business. Carita is also an active member of the Consumer & Retail, Industrial and CEO & Board Practices.
For over 20 years, Kristen Smit has been leading successful executive searches throughout Europe. She has built an extensive international network, and developed substantial expertise in the industrial and professional services sectors. Kristen specialises in cross-border assignments aimed at building international and multicultural teams that contribute high value and performance.
With over 25 years as a retained search practitioner and management consultant, Craig has a range of experiences serving boards of directors in the selection of chief executives. In addition, he partners with CEOs and their human resource executives in the recruitment of management team members, including functional C-level leaders across the enterprise.
