Boyden's Leadership Series Features Wabtec's Al Neupaver

CEO of global rail and industrial supplier discusses keys to the organization’s unique run as NYSE winner for 10 consecutive years

NEW YORK, July 25, 2011 – Boyden, a global leader in executive search, today released its latest issue of the Boyden Leadership Series featuring an in-depth interview with Albert Neupaver, President and CEO of Wabtec Corporation.

The interview with Mr. Neupaver includes his views on the importance of maintaining a technology edge, the real definition of lean principles, the company’s push into China and who makes the best mentor.

Mr. Neupaver joined Wabtec Corporation in 2006 as President and CEO, and member of the company’s Board of Directors. Under his leadership, Wabtec has more than doubled its operating profit and net income, and its stock price has continued to increase each year, making it the only NYSE-listed company whose year-end stock price has increased for 10 consecutive years. Prior to joining Wabtec, Neupaver spent nine years as President of the Electromechanical Group of AMETEK, Inc. Earlier Neupaver spent 11 years with Pfizer, Inc. and he began his career as an officer on nuclear submarines in the U.S. Navy.
