The University of Toronto is hosting the annual Canadian University Boards Association (CUBA) Conference (virtually) for 2021. Against a backdrop of uncertainty and change for higher education, and for society more broadly, the role of University Boards to provide informed and effective oversight of their institutions has become even more critical. The conference will be held virtually on three Fridays with a different theme for each day. The sessions, organized around the themes of Institutional Autonomy (April 30), Equity Diversity and Inclusion (May 7), and Universities in a Post-COVID World (May 14), are designed to provide Board leaders with timely and relevant information to assist in executing on important mandates within this dynamic landscape.
