Karen Kosiba Edwards joins as expert panelist at Institutional Investor Institute for Defined Contribution's Senior Delegates Roundtable

The Institutional Investor Institute for Defined Contribution is a private membership organization for the nation’s DC plan sponsors as well as supporting members from the industry’s leading asset management firms, providers, and consultants.

Built by plan sponsors for plan sponsors, the agenda for each DC Institute meeting draws heavily on an incomparable well of industry insight contributed by our plan sponsor and expert attendees. Each program addresses the issues most relevant to the nation’s plans.

The only group of its kind, the DC Institute was engendered by plan sponsors who called for a collegial membership of their peers; one in which leading asset management firms and DC providers could work together with those executives responsible for their company’s retirement plans to design solutions for the biggest challenges facing employees and retirees.

Through expert-led panel discussions and peer-led roundtable sessions as well as customized research, the Defined Contribution Institute helps to drive innovation and create new solutions for the DC industry by:

  • Building relationships between members and senior representatives of major North American defined contribution plan sponsors.
  • Educating plan sponsors and senior fund executives on the opportunities, strategies, and challenges attendant with helping their employees ensure a financially secure retirement.
  • Exploring innovative investment communication, education, and financial wellness approaches to improve participant engagement and retirement outcomes.
  • Addressing the increasing regulatory and legal issues facing the industry and the plans themselves.

The Senior Delegates Roundtable event, Disruption in DC: Who’s Cashing That Check?, will take place on January 15, 2019 in New York, NY.  The agenda features expert panel discussions and keynote speakers, including Addressing Inter- and Intra-Team Dysfunction within Firms to Gain Efficiency and Marketshare, with a discussion centered around how to build successful, high energy teams within your organization.

Panelists:

Karen Kosiba Edwards, CFA, Partner, Boyden
Jean-Marc Laouchez, President, Korn Ferry Institute
