I recently outlined how to navigate glass cliff opportunities and the corporate jungle that followed. As an aspiring or current executive, the challenges you face are many, varied, and evolving. In the first article of this two-part series, I discussed minding your mentality (to avoid stumbling over yourself) and minding your environment (to avoid stumbling over your organization’s culture) as two fundamental elements of success. This second article outlines three final tips: minding the corporate “wildlife,” getting your bearings, and attending to your needs.
