Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation is a proud partner of the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and the communities it serves throughout the Couchiching region. We work to raise funds for life-saving medical equipment and technology, infrastructure upgrades and expansions, and education and training for our Hospital team to ensure our community receives exceptional care for generations to come.

Our success is led by the compassionate spirit and generosity of our community. We are governed by a deeply committed Board of Directors and supported by active volunteers. Our Foundation is comprised of a dedicated team of 12 staff, determined to enhance the future health and wellbeing of those we serve.

Signature Events

The 10th Annual Charlee's Run brings the community together to bring awareness to pregnancy and infant loss while supporting neonatal and paediatric care at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.

Soldiers' Ride is an exclusive 30K/50K/100K cycling and fundraising event dedicated to advancing patient care at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.

Donor Recognition

The OSMH Foundation received a #3.3 million gift from the Weber Foundation in 2024. Over the past 27 years, the Weber Foundation has donated more than $28 million to local charities, including $700,000 to OSMH in addition to their recent gift of $3.3 million.

Their gifts to Soldiers’ have had a profound impact on health care in our community contributing to new equipment, technology, education, and program developments, particularly for senior care.
