Danone Canada Announces New Senior Vice President, Marketing, E-Commerce & Digital

Toronto, ON and Boucherville, QC - March 3, 2025

Danone Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Angie Balian as Senior Vice-President, Marketing, e-commerce & digital starting today, Monday, March 3, 2025.

In her role, Angie will lead the development of Danone Canada’s food and beverage categories which include industry-leading brands such as Activia, Oikos, Silk, Danone, Two Good, International Delight and evian, driving brand growth, and enhancing online presence and sales of Danone’s portfolio. 

Angie joins Danone Canada with an extensive marketing and commercial leadership background in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, having been part of some of the country’s largest organizations, including Kraft and Coca-Cola, where she spent 16 years, and having contributed to building growth plans for iconic brands like Oreo, Chips Ahoy!, Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, smartwater, Powerade and many more.  With increasing experience and leadership positions throughout her career, Angie more recently expanded her responsibilities by managing large and complex brand businesses as Chief Brands Officer at United Natural Foods, Inc (UNFI) and Weston Foods as VP and General Manager.

Angie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours from the Schulich School of Business at York University and will be based in Toronto.
