Boyden is pleased to share the appointment news of Bianca McGregor, a recruitment led by Andrew Dumont

Charlottetown, PE - Dec. 14, 2023 

The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Bianca McGregor as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 15, 2024.

“We are excited to welcome Bianca as our new CEO. With her diverse experience and strong connections in our Island community, we are confident she will further strengthen the Chamber through increased advocacy, engagement, and action on business priorities for a sustainable business future in our community,” said Chamber Board President Kim Griffin. “We look forward to working with her to advance the priorities of our members in our business community and with key stakeholders.”

An Islander from Montague, Bianca brings extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector, most recently serving as Executive Director of the Island Nature Trust (the Trust). Prior to her work with the Trust, Bianca spent over a decade in PEI and Western Canada in senior management roles – including at the RCMP Heritage Centre, Canadian Mental Health Association, and Health Canada – with experience overseeing various aspects including advocacy, strategic partnership development, grants and contributions, programming, marketing, and events.

She also brings experience as an entrepreneur in a family-owned jewellery business.

“I am honoured to step into the role of CEO at the Chamber,” Bianca said. “I look forward to working closely with our members, stakeholders, and the broader community to champion innovation, nurture business development, and advocate for the collective interests of the business community.”

She holds a Business degree from UPEI. Bianca lives in Mayfield with her husband, their youngest son and rescue dog.

With over 1,150 members the Chamber is the voice for business representing collectively over 25,000 employees on the Island.
