As the business continues to expand through strategic acquisitions, infrastructure investment, and cross-border growth, ABC Recycling is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strong financial leadership in support of the organization’s long-term objectives. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will provide enterprise-wide financial leadership across a multi-location, asset-intensive organization, supporting disciplined growth, operational excellence, and sound risk management.
The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, capital management, and enterprise reporting. Beyond core financial responsibilities, the role will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership—providing clear, timely, and actionable insight to inform decision-making and support sustainable value creation.
A key priority for the incoming CFO will be leading a significant systems (financial and operational) modernization effort, including the evaluation and implementation of a new ERP platform, to enhance financial visibility and support operational decision-making as the organization continues to grow.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, forward-looking finance leader with experience in complex, operationally intensive environments such as manufacturing, industrial distribution, or related sectors. They will have led successful ERP implementation and/or significant financial and reporting systems upgrades. They bring the judgment and perspective to assess risk, support long-term planning, and partner effectively with executive leadership, while remaining practical and hands-on in execution.
