Karen Edwards has 25 years’ experience consulting with boards, CEOs and government on a range of strategic matters. She also draws on her own experience serving as a public company director, and as a C-level executive, to help clients build diverse, high-performing leadership teams and boards of directors. Her deep expertise in all areas of finance and banking is also a major asset to our clients.
William Farrell has been with Boyden for over 30 years. As the former lead in Greater China, he has extensive experience working across the Asia Pacific region. He also has comprehensive knowledge of the Southeast Asia market. His search experience includes working in industrial manufacturing, shipping and logistics, and financial services. In addition, Bill has served as a Board Director for NGOs and private companies for 20-plus years. He is currently leading Boyden’s Taiwan and South Korea offices, and focuses on recruiting for Board, CEO and other leadership roles across functional lines.
Prior to launching his career in executive search, Henrik Harbo developed substantial expertise in senior investment banking and financial roles in top-tier global organisations, becoming a highly regarded business leader throughout the Nordic region and abroad. He is a trusted advisor, sought-after for his guidance on strategy, leadership and ability to build teams that are geared for growth.
Chad Hesters is an experienced global leader with a comprehensive background in executive search, business advisory and consulting. As CEO, he focuses on maintaining Boyden’s high standard of client service and its industry leadership, while developing and implementing strategies to further expand the firm’s global presence and enhance its capabilities across all lines of business.
Robert Travis is a Managing Partner and a core member of the Industrial Practice Group. He focuses primarily on the manufacturing, fabrication, energy/energy services and technology sectors. A citizen of both Canada and the US, he is attuned to the subtle differences in leadership requirements and specializes in clients with business interests in both countries.
João Guedes Vaz is a highly regarded leadership and business transformation specialist focused on strategic change in fast-paced, highly competitive environments. With over twenty years as an executive in multi-cultural and multinational organisations, João has worked with some of the largest companies in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa across of a variety of sectors. Joao leads Portugal’s leadership consulting services and partners across the firm working with clients in developing high performing teams.
Miguel Zuil is the Managing Partner of Boyden for Spain since 2008. Since 2024 he is a member of the Board of Directors of Boyden globally. He is a key member of the global Professional Services who he led globally for 8 years.

Victor Escandón is a multifaceted corporate finance executive with cross-functional expertise and dexterity to balance strategy and execution. He is adept at navigating changing environments, and has led organizations through acquisitions, divestitures and other transformations. In addition to financial services, his strategic and operational capabilities extend to the consumer products industry.
Gary Pikul is a seasoned executive who has held senior leadership roles within global organizations. He provides the vision and direction to strengthen Boyden’s ability to respond with agility to the changing needs of clients and teams worldwide. His expertise in orchestrating business transformation and ability to engage with stakeholders further enable him to optimize opportunities and outcomes.
As a seasoned marketing and communications executive, Chris Swee sets the tone for all of Boyden’s marketing initiatives worldwide as the Global Chief Marketing Officer. Known for his roll-up-the-sleeves and hands-on approach, Chris leads the marketing team in developing a robust content marketing platform that promotes the Boyden brand globally while supporting individual office and partner efforts around the world.
Joanna Goncalves drives global marketing strategy and initiatives aimed at elevating the Boyden brand and expanding growth worldwide. A multifaceted marketing executive, she works closely with Boyden practices and partners worldwide with vision and agility. Joanna is also dedicated to building on Boyden’s commitment to diversity and inclusion through global strategies, partnerships and campaigns.
As a strategist and innovator, Adam Susman brings a distinctive technological focus to Boyden’s global initiatives, leveraging digital solutions to improve client experiences and outcomes. He also works closely with our global industry and cross-sector practices to identify opportunities for evolving the organization. He excels at analysing complex challenges and conceptualizing novel approaches.
Agathi Agnello has a comprehensive background of more than 15 years in financial services with in-depth expertise in accounting and financial reporting. She is a trusted leader, known for her exceptional accuracy, efficiency, management and analytical skills. She is also remarkably resourceful in optimizing departmental processes and procedures to the benefit of our organization and our clients.
Dana Rutty has been a key contributor in a variety of administrative and marketing support roles since joining Boyden in 2006. Having a strong command of corporate governance, she is involved in a range of policy and legal matters, and works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors. Dana has been promoted twice for her professionalism and adroit management skills.
Facundo Sallent combines in-depth knowledge in the functional areas of human resources, finance and technology at leading global corporations. He is skilled in leveraging data visualization and business intelligence tools to develop analytics and metrics which enable organizations to make informed decisions.
Valeria Carrasquillo brings rich experience in project management and marketing to her role. She has a strong command of digital marketing strategies and tactics, with proficiency in web development and multiple project management and collaboration platforms. This enables her to manage the complexities of Boyden’s local and firm-wide digital initiatives and ensure efficient planning and execution.
